The vision

Mixolydian is a biotechnology company dedicated to the research, development, and application of novel methods for DNA mixture analysis. Our proprietary software enables the deconvolution of mixed contributor DNA into the individual genetic profiles of the contributors with unprecedented precision, accuracy, and speed.

Our technology was developed by physicist, machine learning expert, biomedical engineer, and Mixolydian co-founder Jake Wortman during his tenure at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. Mixolydian holds the patent. Prior to Mixolydian, Mr. Wortman was a machine learning researcher at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Mixolydian owns an exclusive worldwide license to the technology.
