Mixolydian LLC (“Mixolydian,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”) values your privacy. We offer genetic testing that helps law enforcement and governmental officials identify missing persons and suspects in crimes.In this Privacy Policy (“Policy”), we describe how we collect, use, and disclose information about users of our website, www.Mixolydian.co (the “Site”) and the services available through our Site (the “Services”). By visiting the Site, or using any of our Services, you agree that your personal information will be handled as described in this Policy. Your use of our Services, and any dispute over privacy, is subject to this Policy and our Terms of Use, including its applicable limitations on damages and the resolution of disputes. The type of information that we collect from you depends on your particular interaction with our Site, but generally includes the below information.Interactions and Communications. Please be aware that no data security measures can guarantee 100% security. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords, or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
Your Choices
You may opt out of any promotional or informational communications sent by Mixolydian by following the opt-out instructions contained in the email or emailing us at solve@mixolydian.co. Please note that it may take up to ten (10) business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information, we think may interest you, we may still send you emails about any Services you have requested or received from us.We may retain certain information about you as required by law or as permitted by law for legitimate business purposes. For example, if you request that we delete your information, but we believe that you have violated Terms of Use, we may retain information about you in order to attempt to resolve the issue before deleting it.
Children
Our Services are not designed for children under 13, and we do not intentionally collect information on our Services from those we actually know are under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems.
